Today is my birthday. I rushed back home, from tour, last night to be with family for this day. But I had to shelve the celebration plan since I lost my nephew, Keny, on 10th instant. Keny was a young, tall lad of 16 years and 6 feet tall. In him, we lost a handsome nephew.
Amidst these not-so-happy moments, there is good news today- on my birthday. Two of my elder brothers have won their electoral battle. Eldest is a debutant and younger to him is a electoral veteran. They were one team but now they are in separate constituencies. I hope that both will do wonders for their respective constituencies and their areas shall witness unprecedented developments.
Today is definitely a great moment for family but definitely everyone in family would miss Keny. For, Keny had planned to reach Aalo on 12th -13th to be there for vote casting on 14th instant…. Yes, he did reach but not in the fashion that we all wished for….. May his soul rest in peace, may his soul celebrate this joyous occasion….But as mother says," we will remember him fondly, but now that he decided to leave us, his soul must not look back…his soul must march ahead ….”
