04th December is always a cherished date for me as much as for my wife; for, seven winters back in year 2001… on a foggy morning in Gurgaon, little boy who turned eight this winter… arrived to bring smiles to our faces…
Since then I have been living with dreams for him...he is a very average child with lot of emotions. Now he wish to go to hostel but I dread to think of putting him to hostel after all he has been my best buddy at home for eight long years….but question that bugs me more is: will he be able to cope up with tough life in hostel?
He is a sweet soul with lot of EQ; his ways of handling trivial issues at home with his younger sister, didi and his mother is quite precocious….questions he asks on and off makes me feel confident about his ability to assess and probe. Like on 23rd November when his sister turned 3 years, my second eldest brother gave him gift too but this boy without blinking his eyes and before putting forth his right-hand asked his uncle,” why are you giving me gift today? Aren’t you coming on my birthday? And on 04th December, his uncle went away on a tour and did not come for birthday.
His split-seconds reactions such as this makes me proud; his premonitions, intuitions and judgments such as this makes me feel confident about his ability to pull it off all throughout his life.
