Personal Note::Listen up Governor, Chief Minister

Listen up Governor, Chief Minister
The general public would not know if both of them- His Excellency Governor and Honourable Chief Minister- are using the road and road-side amenities across the twin city of Itananagr-Naharlagun and its adjoining areas.
Before, whining gets louder its constitutional binding on these two people to take stock of ghetto like NH 52A, forget the arterial roads in the various sectors. They are duty bound to apprise the public of what immediate corrective steps are being put to action. For heaven’s sake, don’t resort to the hackneyed tactics of telling that ‘dry weather is must for black-topping of the road’. We have heard that broken tapes being played several times, repeatedly, in last couple of years.
Tragedy is lurking round the corner.
For once, it is urged that both must spend just about 60 minutes driving around the town to figure out how dangerous the roads have become.  Ok, if they don’t have time. Just drive around for 30 minutes early in the morning to avoid public inconvenience. Incase if either of them decide to venture out on inspection, please note that  one is not asking you to drive on best three stretches – one, “Zero Point to Raj Bhavan” and two, “Bank Tinali to CM Bungalow” and third, “Zero Point to Ganga Market”!
Who will take responsibilities if someone dies on the road or due to bad road condition?  After accident, compensation is of no use. When one can prevent an accident, let it be done well ahead of time.
For example, the worst affected as much as most dangerous could be the 2kms long stretch between Police Headquarter to Chimpu town.
Mind you, there are atleast 3 big educational institutes- Kendriya Vidyala, Vivekananda Kendriya Vidyalaya and Donyi-Polo Mission School for Hearing and Visually Impaired and it houses more than 3000 students and half of them commute everyday by transport and these children are risk of losing their lives since 6 metres wide road is reduced to less than 3 metres in most of the places between these points.
And, there are more than 2000 households that use the service of the road. God forbid, if there’s someone with complicated pregnancy or delivery case, one won’t be surprise if eventuality takes place in one of craters or potholes.
It is incumbent upon the Chief Minister and Governor to take corrective measures before any kind of tragedy strikes the town. Both of them are in their respective chairs to serve the people and people expect them to oblige.
